Belgrade, Serbia · A different perspective
I am Konstantin Samofalov, a historian, licensed tourist guide and former Member of the Serbian Parliament.
Born in Belgrade, I bring together a local's familiarity with the city, an academic background in history and first-hand experience of Serbia's political institutions.
My approach goes beyond monuments. History, politics, culture and everyday life come together to help you understand how Belgrade and Serbia became what they are today.
I graduated from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Law in 2007 and earned a master's degree in history at its Faculty of Philosophy in 2018. I served in the Belgrade City Assembly from 2004 to 2008 and in the Serbian Parliament from 2007 to 2014, including work on its Defence and Security Committee. My background also includes international cooperation in security and foreign policy. I speak English fluently.
See the city with someone who connects its past to the people, institutions and ideas that shape it today.
